Scholastic Marathon (Get set, Get ready, Let's go) College-Prep for High School
The purpose of the virtual online Scholastic Marathon (Get set, Get ready, Let’s go) College-prep for high school training is to build transferable social skills to help students be successful in the transitional stages from high school to college and life.
The Scholastic Marathon (Get set, Get ready, Let’s Go) College Prep for high school training has two components:
- After school version – 6 weeks (2 hours per week)
- Summer version – 5 sessions (2.5 hours per session)
The after school training consists of 20 sessions, two hours per week equals one session with a college tour in the Spring.
The summer training consists of six sessions, six hours per session with the last session being a college tour.
The minimum class size is 15 students with a maximum of 20 students.

- College research
- College resume and essay
- One-minute introduction
- Personal data sheet
- Admission process
- Career and college major assessment
- Stress management
